Personally I found this subject quite hard to get my head around because of the different observations different people have on this definition. There are also many photographers who have different creative interpretations on these titles as well. The points I did gain from the presentation was
Otherness is shown as being different of differentiating from the dominant race
Everyone is put and gathered in different groups according to different elements such as Race, gender, age and sexuality. Otherness is a term for people who steer away from the groups and are their own category of otherness.
